Abstract

Pregnancy is a remarkable gift, leading many to seek an understanding of the stages of fetal development in the womb and the signs of impending birth. Fetal development is a primary factor that sparks curiosity among expectant mothers regarding the biological processes occurring over the nine-month period. Furthermore, as mothers enter the late stages of pregnancy, they typically begin to experience signs of impending labor and seek information regarding these occurrences and appropriate management strategies. Addressing the high demand for such information among pregnant women, this thesis, titled "Web-Based Expert System for Monitoring Fetal Development and Labor Signs Using Forward Chaining Method," aims to provide comprehensive information. It covers fetal development from the first week to the weeks preceding delivery and allows for the diagnosis of labor symptoms to provide users with relevant information and handling advice.
